A WHOLE Hand

How can this little LIVE Wire be a WHOLE hand old!   These years are flying by and I just want them to SLOW down.  I can't believe next year he will be going to school.  To know Judson is to know energy, strong opinions and actions and fun like I have never experienced.  It amazes me how different all of my children are.

Judson you are smart, your LOVE to work, and you are never still even in your sleep.  You love to be snuggled one second and running around the next.  You take everything in whether it be working with your daddy, a conversation between others or a ball game.  NOTHING gets past you!  You love everything that has to do with cattle, sports and hunting.

At his 5 year well check he was :

42 lbs -75%
44 1/4 inches tall- 75%
20/20 vision

He also went through and extensive hearing test at the ENT, they were very suprised for his age that he was able to complete the test.  Not me...it was a gane he was going to conquer, and that he did.  I was pleased to find out that his hearing is great.  He has some delayed speech and has been going to speech for the past year and has made so many improvements.

August iPhone pics

So it seems like the months and days are flying by but I don't want to forget some of my favorite memories...I seem to be forgetting alot of things lately.  So here is a portion of our August...there are a few pics and memories that require a blog of their own.
Judson really wanted to ride Hershey...he was suited up and everything.  Unfortunately, Hershey had other ideas.

Eric Church Concert

Right before the business of school started we decided to take a little fast getaway to Colorado Springs.  We went to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre (a must do if you have never been) and stayed a night at the Broadmoor.  It was so much fun and a great little getaway.

XIT Parade

All Healed

Praise the Lord Haven's arm is healed and she was able to have her cast removed!   She was so excited to not have that heavy, hot cast on!

Jr Rodeo

We had such a fun time at the junior rodeo this year!  Judson competed in the stick horse race and did great!  He also participated in the mutton bustin, I wish I had pictures but only video!

Cole was too old for the stick horse races this year so he rode a steer calf!  They both had so much fun!

Eye Check

We had Cole's eye checked this past week at the recommendation of his first grade teacher and we learned ALOT!  He eyes are healthy and strong...thank you Lord!  BUT he is red/green color deficient...on some shades!  This isn't a big surprise to me...my dad is colors deficient as well as Natalie's boys!  My best understanding is that my dad gave us girls that gene and most likely all of our boys will be effected.

Cole loved all this attention and kept wanting me to take pictures so he could see what he looked like!
