Christmas Eve

This year we decided to stay home for Christmas Eve and enjoy our little family of four.  Every year we head out to a candle light service and we LOVE them, but it makes for a late and hectic Christmas Eve.  We have enjoyed eating dinner, watching Christmas cartoons and relaxing before the big day tomorrow.  Merry Christmas from the James Family!

Cookie with Nannie

Every year Nannie (Natalie), the baker in our family, invites all the kids over to make cookies for Santa.  We missed last year with Olivia being in the hospital, so this year is extra special for all of us.  Nannie did a little prep work this year and the cookies were all ready made and ready to be decorated.  All the kids had a blast...Thanks Nannie

The Boys Tree

Ohh Christmas tree...

Every year we head to Amarillo to get our Christmas tree!  It is one of my favorite traditions we have made for our family...I can't tell you how much fun we have had year after year!!  And now the boys get so excited!  This year Cole picked out the perfect family tree and Judson helped pic out the tree for their room!!  If you have never had a REAL tree you MUST try it!!

Big OWIE

As we were getting our Christmas decor out I decided we would dust a few dust bunnies.  As always Judson decided to help me and dropped a full can of Pledge on his toe!  I have never seen that little guy cry so long and so hard!  He didn't want to walk on it for a few days but now he is back to his normal little self!

Oh MY TUMBLEWEEDS!!!   The tumbleweeds are horrible right now due to the fact that we have been in a drought and many people had to sale their cattle.  We ended up getting a late rain and there  were not enough cattle to graze the weeds.  It is a daily thing to have "bust" through these tumbleweed drifts.  My boys have really started loving it especially when you can't see anything, momma not as much!

This is Levi on top of his pickup...this was the first time I had seen this and he opened it up for me.  Now I am on my own!  :)

The drift in front of our "Lost Camp" sign.  You can't even see the fence line!

Denver Broncos

I can't tell you how much the 4 of us loved getting away for the weekend.  We had so much fun.  It is a true blessing that not only do I love Becca & Lance and spending anytime I can with them, but so does my husband.  They introduced Levi and I to IKEA.  What a store!!  We did a little Christmas shopping at Bass Pro Shop and ate a TON of food!  The game was awesome and the Broncos ended up demolishing KC!
Can't wait for many more couple and family getaways with the Wann's!  Love you guys!!
We definitely made memories for a lifetime this weekend!!  :)
