And He's OFF

Ohhh...Cole's first day of school!  I can't tell you the anxiety I have felt the last 6 months for this day!  And it went 100% better than I ever imagined through a lot of prayer and giving it to God I was at total peace the first day...not a single tear shed by any of us!

Now lets get to Cole...He was so excited about today!  He couldn't wait for the day to come.  We are blessed that he is in my sisters class this year, its helping me adjust a little easier although I think he would have been fine in any class.

I picked him up several times this week and he complained that school went WAY too fast and wasn't ready to go home yet, he also added in that he really hadn't had time to miss us much!  Answered prayers, I would really be having a hard time if he was having a hard time!

Apparently we live so far out that there really aren't kids around here to share a bus ride with Cole.  We knew we had no "neighbors" per say, but we assumed there were kids that lived at the different dairies on 385 to our house, apparently NOT.  Anyhow, Cole has had a personal driver a few mornings/afternoons this week and I guess its going to be this way for now.  He has really learned to really like Mr. Joe picking him up in the mornings and I am sure talks his ear off all the way to town!

It's still hard to believe that he is old enough to be headed to school...I am so grateful and blessed for the years I got to have him to myself at home.  He has always been my little shadow at home along doing whatever I was doing.  I am going to cherish this alone time that Judson and I have until the new baby arrives in March.  He asks me a couple of time a day where his Cole is, and then quickly remembers he is at school!   We are looking forward to the weekend, when we can stay up a little later and hopefully sleep a little later!  We are becoming routine people!

He's 3

It's still hard for me to believe that my little guy is 3.  Judson is a fireball, he is everything boy!  He loves anything to do with sports, cattle, and being outside!  He is always on the move, even in his sleep!  I can't tell you enough how he has blessed this family.

He loves his big brother and they are the best of friends, if you mess with Cole you better believe this 3 year old kid will come after you full throttle.

Even though he is crazy busy, Judson had the sweetest soft side too!  He LOVES babies and will sit so still if he gets the chance to hold and love on one!

Judson is quite, I'm not so sure he is compared to other boys his age, but compared to Cole he is.  He gets across what he wants and needs and his talking has really took off the past 6 months or so.  He still makes up his own words and Cole and I have a lot of fun figuring them out!

He is right on track and here are his 3 year old stats:

Weighs 34.6 lbs -75%
Height 38 1/4 inches- 75%
Eyes were 20/20
Blood Pressure-102/68
Heart Rate- 74

We had his birthday party Sunday afternoon with a few water slides and had a blast!

Exciting news

They are excited!!

The James brothers have some exciting news to share with everyone...they are expecting a new sibling in March.  We want to thank everyone who has prayed for us and for your continued prayers during the pregnancy.  We couldn't be happier and are so blessed and excited as a family.

Junior Rodeo

The boys took part in the annual XIT junior rodeo and had so much fun!  They did great!  This was Cole's first year to ride in the mutton bustin and he did well!  However, his fabulous mom didn't get any pictures of him riding his sheep!  Judson was pretty upset that he wasn't big enough this year, next year we will be sneaking him in!!   I fear that they both have been blessed with Levi and mine competitive spirit so there were a few tears when we had to leave without trophies!!  Here's to next year..,

And thanks Whitney for snapping a few AWESOME pictures for me

New Baby James Family

We welcomed another beautiful girl into the James family a couple weeks ago!  Miss Collins Kay is as adorable as her big sister!!

These boys LOVED her
He would hold her all day, might need a few more lessons on holding her head
Gettin' some Cole lovin'

Ahhhhh...Grass

A few weeks ago we got grass in the front yard at the house!  We instantly fell in love with it...so nice to go from dirt to grass in a morning.
With cool, wet grass came out first rattle snake just a few hours later.  So grateful that Judson knew to run and tell mommy and daddy!  His version of the story is pretty animated and comical but it wasn't funny in the moment.

4th of July

This fourth we were up in the air about plans we were hoping to have it at our house, but weren't quite ready and set for a party.  So Natalie and Junior offered to have a little get together at their house, LITTLE never seems like the right word once we get the Johnson family and all of our kids there plus a few of the in laws!  We had a great time as usual.
Love that they humor my crazy pictures I always want.

Oh my how I LOVE these boys

Summer Pics catch up

I have become a horrible blogger for the 9 people that follow me this summer.  Between moving and trying to have a "epic" summer before my sweet oldest boy starts school this August and moving I feel like its been the craziest summer yet.  So I scrolled through by trust camera (aka phone) and put together some of our faves!

Impromptu Snow Cone date while Judson slept in the car

Doesn't everyone tie their balloon to their pacie?
Milk shakes in fancy glasses
We have done ALOT of swimming
Judson has been to my local Crossfit Box with me a couple times and he likes to "work out," using whatever he can find
SO thankful for the rains we have received this summer.  It's August and still green around here.
With rain comes mosquito's and we learned this summer that Cole is very allergic

Judson's car in a car...he thought this was alot of fun

We saw these twin deer every time we went to town for a month...
5K with these two cuties for a friend fighting cancer!  PRAY FOR AMY!!
Dinner date with Cole to his "favorite chicken place" AKA Chinese buffet
Judson with his Aunts dog Bailey "he wants one"
Judson with Tacori...he would hold her all day and also "wants one."
