Little Britches Rodeo

This past Saturday Cole participated in his first ever XIT JR Rodeo! We were so proud of him...his horse was very hot and tired so we didn't put any record numbers in the books! :). But we had a great time!

I tried really hard for the "perfect" family pic...it was NOT happening!

You have no idea how many pictures I tool to get ONE with them both looking my direction! 

Rett, Cole & Colt loved rolling down the hill....hated I didn't get a pic of all three of them!

He is already taking about next year and how fast he will be, because he wants trophies like "his friend Rett!"

11 MONTHS

I can't believe it...in one short month I will have a one year old! Judson continues to amaze me everyday, he is conquering things Cole didn't do until he was 14 months! Just today he climbed up on the couch and is now trying to climb the stairs on the outside just like his Big Brother!
Judson is so much diffrent that Cole was, sometimes he amazes me at all he does at such a young age.
 He has been walking for a month and on the verge of running.

He now has 4 teeth, two top and two bottom.

He is FINALLY sleeping through the night (we had to have a little tough love a few weeks ago), he generally takes two naps a day ranging from an hour to three.

He LOVES food and I haven't found anything he won't eat.

He loves to play with Cole and thinks he can do everything his big brother does. 

If it's not shut, locked or secured it will be moved.

Judson is so much fun and I love watching him and Cole play.  Cole is an amazing big brother and is so sweet with Judson!  I am so blessed to be the  mommy to these two amazing little guys!

Sunday evening we went to help Levi pour a cement slab around a well. We decided to capture the boys handprints...

Cole wasn't sure about the mess BUT Judson loved it!!

A trip of FIRSTS!!!

Well on Tuesday we sent Cole on his first away from home trip! He went with his PaPa, Aunt Thea, and cousins Allie and Benjamin on a fishing trip to New Mexico for a few days!

This momma had a little hard time letting him go...he had never been on a trip without me, not even to Amarillo! But he was soooo excited!!

He CAUGHT a fish and his excitement on the phone was adorable!!

Thanks to Aunt Thea, PaPa, Allie and Benjamin for making Coles first fishing trip so much fun and for taking such good care of him!

Cole's FIRST Fish!!

Adults ONLY!!!

This past weekend we had an adult only sibling and spouses trip! We went to Santa Fe and stayed at awesome resort/spa/golf course!

On Friday the girls golfed 9 holes and the boys played 18 and then on Saturday we enjoyed a morning at the Spa getting massages while the guys played another round of 18!

We had sooo much fun and enjoyed ALOT of good food and conversations without being interrupted by are adorable children! It will definitely be something we try to do once a year!
We had a great time but we were All more than ready to get home to our little angels!

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July with all of The Johnson Family.  It was so much fun, we had ALOT of food, laughs and volleyball...followed by fireworks!!  Cole and I started out the day making a cake to take and he insisted that we sing "Happy Birthday to America" which we did MANY times throughout the day.  We played some serious games of volleyball and had so much fun!  Judson enjoyed his first 4th of July, he just loves being outside! 

  My Meha would always tell us how lucky we were to all be right here together AND that we ENJOYED spending time together!  We are so blessed!!

10 months to the day our little Judson started walking! I can't believe it! He is so proud of himself and Cole is too! Cole didn't walk until he was 13 months old so this is VERY different! Every time he passes me I'm amazed...he is suppose to still be my little baby!
