Fun day

We packed a lot into one family fun day: Shopping, Santa and picking out our Christmas trees!  I love making these memories...

Judson's nativity

Jof

The boys love "Jof" our special elf from Santa!  I admit our Jof isn't naughty and doesn't get in any trouble!  He likes to play games of hide n seek!!!  The boys jump up every morning to see who can spot him first!

Thanksgiving at school

I must say I thought Natalie had lost it when she told me they were doing a "Charlie Brown" Thanksgiving dinner at school!  All I could think of was GERMS...but the kids loved it!!!

Big owies

Both of the boys got major owies within a week of each other!
Judson fell climbing over a gate and landed face first on our rock cattle chute! He is such a tough boy and didn't like the attention his face gave him.  Everyone we saw wanted to know what happened and he didn't want to talk about it.  Luckily he only needed a good clean up and lots of love!
Cole on the other hand was a bit more of a disaster.  His teacher (my sister) called and needed me to get to town as soon as I could.  Cole had fallen out of his desk chair and somehow managed to stab himself with non sharp scissors.  Poor guy didn't even cry until his anxiety kicked in, as they were trying to explain to him the possible ways it would have to be fixed.  Thank goodness we were a candidate for glue and it was an easy fix.

My poor boys don't get excited or too worked up when they hurt themselves.  I blame myself for that.  It is my "retired" nurse staus, I learned very fast when working that as long as I stay calm everyone does!  A much needed trait when parenting boys...

Love The Help

We have the cutest helpers...and they have been helping a lot lately!

Zoom ZOOM

Cole, Levi and PaPa (Levi's dad) helped construct a box car for Cole's boxcar derby at school!  They had so much fun building and testing it!  Cole and I had a blast decorating it!  And best of all he WON, he was very excited!
