A GOOD Friday

Today we had several fun things planned...we started the day painting Easter eggs! If you know my boys at all you know how incredibly messy they are...they are nicknamed "Messy Marvin's." Last year we dyed eggs and the boys were all shades of colors for Easter. So this year I thought we would try painting eggs. We used watercolors and the boys had a blast but the colors aren't all that vibrant.
After lunch we made an Easter cake for all of us to enjoy after church on Sunday! Cole loves to help in the kitchen and we had a blast, Judson mostly just ate peeps and chocolate!

Big BOY

Judson has not been sleeping well so we finally decided to just move him to a big bed with hopes he would be more cozy and just SLEEP!! I was nervous because he is so busy and I was afraid we would fight him to stay in bed, but he has proved us wrong! He has done great! It was so sad to move him from the baby bed to the big bed, but he LOVES it and so does his big brother.

Since Judson moved to the big bed, Cole decided he also needed to start using the potty! Mommy was not ready for that step, but Cole insisted so we got it out and Judson sits on it ALOT, but no success yet!!

Tim Tebow

Anyone that knows Levi knows he LOVES the Denver Broncos and we LOVED when Tim Tebow played for them! How could you not? He had an awesome season with them and he is an amazing role model! It would be an understatement to say that Levi has a "man crush" on him...and maybe me too!!!
He spoke at an event in Amarillo this past week and Levi and I had the opportunity to go and hear him speak! Amazing is all I can say...he was AMAZING!

Yeehaw!!!

This weeks we spent helping the guys move cattle off of wheat! I've learned that anything is possible if you have enough snacks, fresh air and a positive attitude! We had so much fun and had ALOT of fun talks!!

All in a name

This week Cole learned to write his "full" name!! He loves to use up the paper, I can't tell you how many I pick up a day!

Spring Break

We enjoyed a small glimpse of what summer will be like during spring break! We enjoyed playing outside and some quality cousin play time and with some occasional fighting! We are so blessed that we are all getting to raise our kid together!

We have been trying to take advantage of the beautiful weather this week!  The boys love to ride the 4 wheeler and we have started practicing for a little TBall.  We are so excited that Cole will be playing this year. I'm pretty sure Judson is gonna be sad when he doesn't get to play!  Hope everyone is having a fabulous spring break!

Levi's Birthday

We woke up Sunday morning at the cabin and it was Levi's 32nd birthday! We celebrated with some yummy cookies!!   Anyone that knows Levi knows that he LOVES Tim Tebow, he is coming to Amarillo so we got him tickets to see him! 

I can't say enough good things about this man that God made my husband, the boys daddy and the head of our house.  He is the most hard working man I know and even after a long day ALWAYS has time to come home and have energy for us.  We look forward to many, many more birthdays to celebrate!!  Love you Levi Cole and thanking God for you and His blessing on our family!!   MUAH!!

Weekend of FUN

A couple weekends ago we took off to Angel Fire for a fun weekend away to relax (not really) and ski.   We were short a few of the "Johnson Family," my dad was out of town, Garrett's family sat this year out since Harper is so little, and the rest of us left our youngest babies at home.  We had a great time and it was really fun to be able to give the older kids our undivided attention.

Friday morning we headed to the slopes and put Karlee, Avi, Eli and Cole in ski school, then the rest of us headed off to ski.  About one that afternoon, ski school called and Cole & Avi were FINISHED!!  We ended skiing the last couple hours with them and I was impressed with how well Cole did.  That night we ordered pizza in and made smores. 

Saturday The Garcia's, Adriane and I headed out to ski again for a few hours, while mom stayed back with the younger 4 and Levi & Ty headed out for a little road trip to Taos and Red River.  We were back at the cabin by 2 and went sledding with the kids & built snow men.  That night we cooked out steaks...YUMMY and all the kids crashed EARLY!  Which meant us adults played a mean game of JINGA! 

We had a great time and are already looking forward to next year!
