Santa & Christmas Trees

We are so lucky that The Pear Tree and Saw Mill Photography provide this beautiful place, photos and Santa in our small town.  The kids loved telling Santa they wanted a "Real" horse and that Haven wanted a Barbie doll!

We took our annual trip to Amarillo to get our Christmas Tree.  I say it all the time but this is one of my favorite family traditions we have made.  It's always so fun...

The boys got a real tree too for upstairs!

The busy weekend wore this sweet girl OUT!!!

He's BACK!!!

Jof returned the day after Thansgiving with matching Jammie's for the kids!  They were so excited and glad for the hide and seek games to begin.

8 months

These months keep going faster and faster!   Haven was 8 months on Thansgiving day!

Haven weighs around 22 lbs and continues to wear mostly 18 month clothes and size 4 diaper.

She is still nursing every three or so hours and hasn't been sleeping that well at night thanks to a couple ear infections and two new teeth!

That's right we now have two
bottom teeth!  She is starting to eat more table good and has no interest in baby food!

She is starting to get up on all hours and rocking backwards.  Hoping crawling holds off until after Christmas!  I'm not ready for her to be so big!

Thanksgiving

We had a wild Thansgiving.  We invited our families and a few extended family to the house for lunch.  We had been watching the weather like a hawk all week and knew that we would need to eat lunch early and get everyone on their way home to dodge the weather and moisture!

Well, that was a great plan that didn't work out.  About the time everyone was getting to the dirt road it started misting then raining!  We ended up getting several people/food to ride with us in our car, but several wanted their own car. Well we ended up spending the next two hours pulling people out and shuffling people to our house.  We finally ate lunch around 2 then went back for round two to take everyone back to the highway!

My husband was so Patient and the best host!  He was muddy/soaking wet and frozen the entire Thansgiving day!  I was just sad my well planned Thansgiving didn't turn out!  BUT we did have an amazing lunch and got to visit!  Any future dinners with have a back up plan on pavement!

Thankful

Cole's teacher sent me this the week of thanksgiving!  I am in awe the love our boys have for eachother. "Even thow your hert me I stil love you." Pray they continue to be close and the best of friends.
