Play Ball

Baseball season has began and we are BUSY BUSY but enjoying every minute.  This is our first year to have them both playing and on different teams in different leagues.  Twice a week practices and Cole with 13 games and Judson with 18 will keep us busy until the end of May, but the boys are loving it!

Easter Blessings

HE is Risen!!   We had a wonderful Easter this year, it started with a little much needed moisture that we were thankful for.  Church was wonderful and so was lunch!  This year Levi let the boys pick out there Easter outfits and they were so excited to be dressed so nicely.  I usually just grab a few polo shirts that coordinate and call it good.  But they wanted to be fancy...and they were.

One and Sooo Fun

How can a year go by this fast?  Haven turned ONE on March 26th, we celebrated with a yummy lunch with family.  She hasn't been feeling well, darn ears, so she wasn't her normal smiley self, but we had fun either way.

Had to have a hat picture with everyone!
She loved the flame

Couldn't get everyone to cooperate for a sibling picture!
Here is our princess!
Cole made a few decorations also!
So blessed
We have always gotten our kids name puzzles for their first birthday!
Yeah for a fun party!!

Cousin fun

The boys love spending time with their cousins!

One year Well check

This sweet thing had another ear infection for her birthday so what should have been her well check today resulted in another rocephin shot.

We did go ahead and do her check but have to come back in a couple weeks for her vaccines.

She weighed 23 lbs 14 ounces- that is 90% percentile and the weight of an eighteen month old.

She was 29 3/4 inches- 80 percentile and the length of a 15 month old.

She is wearing a size 5 diaper, 18-24 month clothes and a size 4 shoe.  She is such a happy girl, although we are having to work a little harder lately for her smiles.
She eats great, loves water down apple juice and is still nursing for naps and night.  We have tried cow milk a few times and she hasn't taken a liking to it yet.

Haven is still crawling and bear crawling is her fastest mode of getting around. She cruises but hasn't decided to actually take off and go for it yet.  We are ok with that...

Hurt Ninja

I got a message Tuesday that said Cole had fallen at recess and had a little abrasion.  Fear rang through me because   Cole has busted his chin so many times. So I did what any mom who is 30 miles away would do...I called reinforcement.  I called Natalie and a dear friend of mine that works at the school and asked them to take a look and see if it warranted me a early trip into to town.
As soon as my sister sent me the pictures I knew I needed to come take a look.  We cleaned it up and decided that we better go to the emergency room and see if it needed stitches.   Thankfully, it did not and we are praying the glue will hold up during baseball and heal.

When I asked Cole how he fell he told me that he fell getting on the monkey bars.  I sad man you must have fell hard...he told me "mom, all my friends said I did a back flip cartwheel I looked like a ninja." So thankful he looked cool busting up his face. All afternoon he kept telling me..."the hurt ninja strikes again." I'm glad he has a good sense of humor.  I have a feeling we will have a lot more hurt ninja stories.
